You can analyse charts with all sorts of technical indicators available in the world with TOS and many more.

Well before opening an online demat account kindly check
a) account opening fee
b) Annual maintainence charges
c) brokerage
d) must have an office of that company near u in case of any query or difficulty.
Well i have been using Reliance Money demat account from the past 3 yrs and i am highly satisfied with it.if u need any help in opening a demat with reliance money mail me at amitashg@hotmail.com can help u out and mail the forms it is just adjacent to my office.

I don’t know about kotak securities. Most people use etrade, scottrade, TD ameritrade, Charles Schwab, and etc
