I Need Some Extra Money, I Heard That I Can Go Strawberry Picking For Money?
Well im 13 and I live around Portland, Oregon. I heard that I could go strawberry, or Blackberry, or berry picking for extra money. Could anyone foward any sites or inform me if this is true and if I could do it?, Like positive information or websites? If so, how much could I get paid? All Information about this is welcome. I will choose a best answer on how thorough and informative about the question that the answer is! THANKS!
You will need to go around to the fruit farms in your area and ask for the owner and than ask that person if they will hire you. pay will likely be per piece (meaning box) of fruit picked so the faster you pick (without harming the fruit and not picking unusable fruit-they do check for that sort of thing and will dock your pay accordingly) the more money you make. it is hard work but you will get a great tan and muscles as well as money
There is no berry picking going on right now btw. Berries are a late spring through fall deal so picking won’t commence for a few months (when you are out of school)http://www.localharvest.org has a big listing of farms all over the country with lots in your local area. Good luck
