Can I Open An Online Trading Account If I Already Have A Dmat From Elsewhere?
I already have a dmat account and I was looking to open a trading account with ShareKhan or any of the others out there. Is it possible? Also, would you suggest another portal other than ShareKhan… Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Yes , you can have more than one Dmat account ! That means you can have With Share Khan one and many others with others !( remember Dmat is just an account for shares !)
Yes this is always possible. However on the sharekhan form you need to declare the details of the earlier demat / trading account you own.
My reccos: ICICIdirect very good for ease of use and information but high on brokerage
Sharekhan: less borkerage but basic site
You can try Reliance Money, they have a flat fee borkerage product
