Which Online traders are good and cheap for buying and selling mutual funds ?

    You can buy no fee, no load from fidelity.com & vanguard.com, which manage their own funds.

    all have various strengths and weaknesses… Vanguards funds are the lowest cost funds overall.

    I would try Ameritrade. I’ve heard that they offer fairly good service. They are about $9.99 a trade. You buy and sell the funds using their traded symbol (which you can lookup on Yahoo! finance (http://finance.yahoo.com). Ameritrade usually has free deals like 30 free trades in the first month or something like that. I believe Scottrade is a little cheaper, but I’m not sure what kind of service they provide.
