Online Trading – Need Information Regarding Bank Account Linking, Mutual Funds Options?
I am planning to open a demat account and options are plenty..
what i want to know is
1) which all online trading site can be linked to icici savings account as i have savings account with icici.
2) which all trading site allows investment in mutual funds? do all of them support all mutual funds? if no, which is the best?
3) can you negotiate brokerage while opening demat account?

Coming to the questions one by one :
1) ICICI saving account can be linked with ICICI direct and also with Sharekhan(www.sharekhan.com) by which the fund transfer and withdrawal won’t be a major issue.
2) Sharekhan do allow trading or investment on mutual funnds and also NFO. Applying for a mutual fund through Sharekhan is open to everybody, regardless of whether you are a Sharekhan customer.
3) Account opening differ from broker to broker and also depending on the schemes availing.(anything between 500-1000)
Check with brokers, can contact them on customer service no. and also can email across, which is available at website.
